Snow came early on Saturday, Oct. 28, but it did not deter the hundreds of costumed children (and adults) who gathered in Niwot for the annual Great Pumpkin Party. The Boulder County Planning Commission voted unanimously Wednesday, Oct. 18, to advance a plan for revising the county’s land use code related to the regulation of Short-Term and Vacation Rentals. Niwot resident Art Stapp supported many causes during his lifetime, and at the top of his list was the St. Vrain Valley School District, and specifically, Niwot High School. Earlier this summer, Ifrain and Shannon Rodriguez submitted an application to create a new subdivision on their land at the corner of 63rd and Niwot Road. The sun is setting earlier now and this past First Friday Art Walk seemed to be a little more subdued than usual. Fall came to Niwot a day early on Friday, Sept. 22, with Niwot's annual homecoming parade.
