An informal committee met with Alison Steele and Seth Steele last week to plan a memorial to their late father, Bert Steele, Niwot Market owner who died last summer after a short illness. The Boulder County Planning Commission voted unanimously Wednesday, Oct. 18, to advance a plan for revising the county’s land use code related to the regulation of Short-Term and Vacation Rentals. Earlier this summer, Ifrain and Shannon Rodriguez submitted an application to create a new subdivision on their land at the corner of 63rd and Niwot Road. The sun is setting earlier now and this past First Friday Art Walk seemed to be a little more subdued than usual. Fall came to Niwot a day early on Friday, Sept. 22, with Niwot's annual homecoming parade.
