    On Saturday, Jan. 28, the Boulder County Democratic Party (BCDP) voted to select Kyle Brown to represent House District 12 in the state legislature. Brown won 41 votes, which was 80.39% of the 51 votes cast. The other candidates were David Skaggs who received seven votes (13.73%), Jennifer Kaaoush who received two votes (3.92%), Cynthia Martinez who received one vote (1.96%), and Alfredo Alvarado who received no votes.     Niwot dentist Dr. Ashley Niles has submitted plans to Boulder County for redevelopment of the property located at 364 Second Avenue in Niwot, which is currently occupied by Niwot Pizza, formerly Lefty's Pizzeria.
