All Local, All The Time
Ryan Sullivan: I grew up in Niwot and Longmont, graduating from NHS in 2016. I went on to college at CU in Boulder and eventually started medical school in Tampa, Florida, in 2022. My dream is to eventually return to Colorado after receiving my medical degree and start a practice here. I have always enjoyed writing for fun, and started at the Courier because I was always interested in journalism, but it had been put on the backburner due to my medical career. The thing I enjoy most about reporting is learning about all of the different subjects that you might have never explored had you not wanted to write about them. In the future I hope to continue writing about important issues in the medical field to help work towards a better functioning system that works for everyone. I also believe that quality journalism is the key to salvaging our society, because good decisions have to start with good information.
