Death Notice

Betty L. Schlagel, age 98, died April 18, 2024, in Longmont. Betty began her teaching career at Niwot Consolidate School in 1949, where she coached baseball and track in addition to teaching, and later transferred to Columbine Elementary School. A memorial service was held April 29.
