FOOTBALL Jason Burianek (Boulder), who grew up in Gunbarrel, is the head coach for Missouri Baptist University just outside of St. Louis, Missouri. Burianek has built the program from the ground up as he is the first and only head coach at the school, which added football in 2014. Burianek, who played football at the University of Colorado, led the NAIA school to its sixth victory of the season Nov. 9, with a 32-20 win over Graceland University. This will be the team's first winning season since the football program was established.
