Jonathan Epstein Profile

My name is Jonathan Epstein and it's a pleasure to join the Left Hand Valley Courier.

Except for a stint in San Diego to see what all the hubbub was about, I've lived in Colorado for the better part of 34 years, with the last 20 being in Niwot and Gunbarrel.

Originally from Buffalo (Go Bills), New York, I moved to Colorado in part because my high school college counselor said I'd fall off the face of the earth if I moved west of Ohio. Challenging her contention, I drove to Boulder to attend CU, made it in one piece and fell in love as many do, with our state.

I played tennis professionally when I was younger. After many many losses and wanting more than lint in my pocket, I got into technology and have been in the industry for the last 25 years.

I have three daughters, all of whom went to Niwot Elementary. One now attends Dawson School, one attends CSU and one lives in Charlotte, where her first job out of college took her.

I hope my reporting sheds light on topics of importance to our community, piques your interest at times, and makes you smile on occasion.
