Home on the Grange

Left Hand Grange's December agenda is loaded with community forums and community festivities. Holiday-themed windows painted by Niwot's own Denise Chamberlain are making the Grange extra merry and bright.

Also, the Grange has announced some exciting news...new A/V technology is being installed, which will significantly enhance the Grange experience auditorily and visually. The new A/V system will make its first public appearance during the Grange's New Year's Eve party, and more information about the project will be detailed in a forthcoming article.

Boulder County Safety, Mobility and Bikeway Project

Wednesday, Dec. 13, 5:00 - 7:00 p.m.

This is an open house event for the public to gather information and to provide input on the proposed underpass connecting the CO-119 bikeway and transit station to Niwot Road and Second Avenue. There will be an update on the overall project and its safety improvements.

Niwot Community Connection December meeting

Thursday, Dec. 14, 10:00 - 11:30 a.m.

Along with the traditional meeting agenda, the NCC will hold its annual holiday party, including live music. Members are welcome to bring a small dish or sweet treat to share with fellow members. It will be a great time to connect with others and share the holiday spirit!

Longmont Area Agriculture Listening Session

Thursday, Dec. 14, 1:00 - 2:00 p.m.

Longmont-Area State Representatives Karen McCormick (Chair of the Colorado House Agriculture, Water & Natural Resources Committee) and Jennifer Lea Parenti (Member of the Colorado House Agriculture Committee) will be on-hand to discuss new programs benefiting area agriculture producers and will listen to their concerns going into the 2024 Legislative Session.

Niwot Sanitation District Public Meeting

Thursday, Dec. 14, 5:00 - 8:00 p.m.

This meeting will inform citizens and solicit public input regarding the Environmental Assessment and State Revolving Fund Loan Application for the Niwot Sanitation District Wastewater Treatment Facility Improvements Project.

Second Annual Ollin Farms Winter Market

Saturday, Dec. 16, 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.

The folks at Ollin Farms and their partners present a cornucopia of local produce, mushrooms, honey, dried flowers, and holiday gift ideas. The El Sabor de Puebla food truck will offer hot food during the event.

New Year's Eve at the Grange

Sunday, Dec. 31, 7:00 - 10:00 p.m.

Niwot's largest community New Year's party is being held at the Grange. The evening will be filled with fabulous food and entertainment. Guests will be treated to a craft cocktail upon arrival and chef-prepared international food choices (vegetarian/vegan options) throughout the evening.

The enchanting voice of John Sheperd will set the festive tone for cocktail hour, followed by the danceable tunes of The House Blend Band.
