Dental Implants, the New Standard of Care

While not indicated in every situation for every mouth, dental implants have quickly become the gold standard of care for replacing missing teeth or severely compromised teeth. Implants have come a long way since their popularization in the 1980s, and the cost has become largely comparable to the bridges and partial dentures of yesteryear.

Did you know that a missing tooth can cause the drift and unstable “bite” of healthy neighboring teeth? Dental implants allow the remaining teeth, gums and underlying bone to remain healthy and functional in the long term, without sacrificing neighboring teeth or needing a partial denture that comes in and out. It is no longer worth it to simply “ignore” missing teeth.

Facial collapse, premature wrinkles, speech changes and the additional pressure put on your remaining teeth are all risks that need not exist! At Niwot Dental, there is nothing we love more than to transform a missing tooth into a beautiful implant restoration that we have confidence will last years and remain minimally invasive. We use a network of highly trained specialists to place and plan our patient’s implants, and then restore them with beautiful and functional crowns right here in town.

Niwot and the surrounding areas have welcomed my family and I with open arms and I want to continue to return this kindness back to the community. If you or your loved ones are tired of spaces and missing teeth, or have questions and think implant dentistry is "out of reach," think again! We love to answer questions and educate our patients on all facets of dentistry and speak face-to-face. This gives our patients the time and respect they deserve when choosing if dental implant restorations are the right choice. We welcome the opportunity to get to know you and your families!
