Niwot High's Key Club haunted house

Niwot High School's Key Club will be hosting a haunted house at the former Niwot Feed Store from 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 28, during Niwot's Great Pumpkin Party. The haunted house is one of several events happening at the Great Pumpkin Party, including trick or treating at businesses in Niwot, and a parade at 11:30 a.m., which will form up at the parking lot near Niwot Liquor at the intersection of Niwot Road and Second Avenue.

Niwot High School's Key Club is an International, student-run service club led this year by NHS students Andy Rutt and Maya Elowe. Key Club is sponsored by Kiwanis Club of Longmont.

Key Club's purpose is to bring students and their communities together through acts of service and volunteerism. Key Club is involved in the community in many ways including cleaning up local spots, building a community library and hosting events, and every member is dedicated to Niwot.

This Halloween season all of the events during the day will be kid-friendly, including the haunted house. However, the Key Club advises you keep your child's limits in mind when going in.

Keep on the lookout for other upcoming events held by the Key Club, such as the thrift store they will be hosting this winter. All proceeds will be going to various charities. Donation bins for clothing to be sold will be available at the high school soon.
