Firetrucks and a hazmat team responded to the Niwot Market to clean up a refrigerant leak May 8.
On Monday, May 8, Mountain View Fire Rescue firefighters responded to a report of smoke inside the Niwot Market. According to the Mountain View Fire Rescue Twitter post, firefighters found a refrigerant leak from a cracked manifold which had leaked five gallons. Firefighters responded with a hazmat vehicle and spent several hours cleaning up the spill and clearing the building.
