Jessica Walker Profile

I'm Jessica (Tennant) Walker, and I grew up in Niwot. I'm a proud Niwot High School alumnus, class of '99! My husband and two children and I moved back to Niwot five years ago.

My folks still live in Niwot and were very involved in the community, coaching youth sports, volunteering for the Niwot Community Association and the Niwot High School Education Foundation, among other things. They set a good example of how important community is.

I'm involved with coaching and on the board of directors of Niwot Youth Sports. In my spare time, I volunteer as a writer for the Courier, primarily covering youth sports and education features. I like to see our amazing children get recognition for their efforts and accomplishments.

In my day job, I'm a physician in family medicine in Boulder and a clinical instructor at the CU School of Medicine Anschutz medical campus.
