Holiday markets, bake sales, and here comes Santa Claus again

Saturday, Dec. 10, 10 a.m. - 4 p.m.

Here's another chance for children to spend time with Santa at the Grange. In addition to Father Christmas' presence, there will be fabulous festive gifts for sale from a multitude of artists and vendors, and bake sales to enhance your holiday table.

Holiday treats handmade by members of WINC (Women's International Niwot Club) include British mince pies, large cakes, scones, and more. All of the proceeds from the bake sales go to local charities supported by WINC.

Niwot Community Connection

Thursdays, Dec. 8, 10 – 11:30 a.m.

Join in on the group's holiday gathering which will include a trivia session on all things Niwot and the holidays. If you're so inclined, please bring some finger food to share.

Please also consider bringing donations for the Sister Carmen Community Food Bank. The donation focus will be on non-perishable holiday food items, diapers (sizes 4-6), and toilet paper.

Open Stage community music

Sunday, Dec. 11, 1:30-3:30 p.m.

Whether you're an audience member or a performer, join in on the monthly foot tapping community fun of Open Stage at the Grange.

Perform on the musical instrument of your choice (your voice, harmonica, guitar, banjo, piano, etc.) and present your original music or a cover of someone else's. All are welcome to attend at no cost. Performers must be high school age or older. Each performance slot is 12 minutes, which is about three songs long. Sound equipment, microphones, and a piano are provided. Performer sign-ups begin at 1:15 p.m.

Ollin Farms' Winter Market

Saturday, Dec. 17, 9 a.m. - 1 p.m.

Come shop for produce, prepared foods, and more from Ollin Farms.There will be unique handmade gifts and fresh food to prepare nourishing meals for family and friends.

Group dance classes

Tuesdays, Dec. 13, 20, and 27, 5 - 7 p.m.

Dance instructor Lindy Bartruff continues her group dance classes at the Grange. Bartruff's company, Lindybdance, offers fun and supportive dance and fitness classes for all ages and experience levels. Upcoming classes are on the following Tuesdays: Dec. 13, 20 and 27.

Three group classes, together called "Circles and Lines," begin at 5 p.m. on each of those Tuesdays with CircleFit 7, where you can learn fun dance and aerobic steps in circles or chains. Line dance to country and contemporary songs begins at 6 p.m. and International Circle Dance, consisting of ethnic circle and chain dances, begins at 7 p.m.
