Death Notice

Eugene (Gene) Mason Parker of Gunbarrel died October 29, 2022, at age 92. Gene was often seen at Rock & Rails concerts during the summer, as well as throughout events in Boulder, Niwot and Gunbarrel. The Heatherwood community park was renamed Parker Park in 2021 in honor of Gene and his wife Denise. A Celebration of Gene’s life will be held December 10 at 1:00 pm at the VFW Post 807, 4760 28th St, Boulder. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to TRU Hospice.
