Many community members, mostly students and family friends, gathered to listen to each other share some of their favorite memories of Peter Bonn-Elchoness, an NHS senior who passed away in his sleep Nov. 12.
It was well below freezing Friday night when a somber crowd gathered at the Niwot Children's Park. People huddled under the canopy near the reading tree, some had flowers, others were passing out candles. They had gathered to celebrate the life of Peter Guthrie Bonn-Elchoness.
