Upcoming events at the Left Hand Grange No. 9

Senior Health and Recreation classes on Tuesday, Nov. 1, 10 a.m. to noon

Bo Fan, also known as Mala, continues to share her medical knowledge with seniors at the Grange on Tuesday, Nov. 1. Fan, former owner of Niwot's Fan's Chinese Cuisine and the Niwot Conoco Gas Station, studied at a medical college for 6 years and has been a licensed practical nurse for 20 years. Through her fun and informative presentations, Fan's goal is to impart her expertise on all things healthful to Niwot seniors.

Fan's presentations are free and take place every second Tuesday of the month from 10 a.m. to noon. For additional information and to sign up for classes, contact Fan at [email protected].

November and December Group dance classes

Dancer, teacher, and choreographer Lindy Bartruff is offering more group dance classes at the Grange. LindyDance, Bartruff's program, offers energized, supportive dance and fitness classes for all experience levels and ages. Upcoming classes will be held on the following Tuesdays: November 15, 22, 29, December 13, 20, 27.

Together the three classes are titled "Circles and Lines." They begin at 5 p.m. on each of those Tuesdays with CircleFit 7, where you will learn dance and aerobic steps that flow in circles and chains. Next up is Line dancing to country and contemporary songs which begins at 6 p.m. followed by International Circle Dance consisting of ethnic circle and chain dances at 7 p.m.
