1914 House hosts Grand Finale for Marshall Fire Fund

Many Niwot residents and long-time customers of 1914 House gathered on Oct. 5 for the Grand Finale fundraiser event for the Niwot Small Town Big Heart - Marshall Fire Fund. The event put the fund over the goal of raising $100,000 for victims of the Marshall Fire.

The event was sponsored by 1914 House, the Slifer Smith and Frampton Niwot office, Seven Wealth, and DRF Real Estate.

Guests enjoyed a welcome cocktail, great food, live music by Tim Stiles, and an opportunity to participate in an online auction to benefit the Fund. Guests bid on vacations around the world: as close as Telluride and as far away as St. Andrews, Scotland.

The Grand Finale raised $10,165.68 which brought the total amount raised by the Fund to $103,602.73. The funds collected by the Niwot Business Association (NBA) are being administered by the Colorado Gives-Community Foundation of Boulder County.

The NBA campaign was led by Niwot real estate agent Deb Fowler, who said, "I am beyond excited - this is brilliant. We surpassed the goal by our deadline and the1914 House was the perfect wrap-up event - great food, wonderful music and lots of familiar faces contributing to this important local cause and making sure we reached our goal - a wonderful evening."

Fowler, who serves as vice-president of the NBA, embarked on the project to demonstrate that Niwot cares about its neighboring communities, and is there to offer support during difficult times.
