Oktoberfest in Niwot

Despite rain, hail and some chilly temperatures, Fritz Family Brewers' First Annual Fritztoberfest went off without a hitch on Saturday, Oct. 1. The event, which ran from 12 noon to 10:00 p.m., featured a stein-holding competition, an El Herradero food truck and a traditional German "oompah" band, Denver's Thirsty Five. Over one hundred people attended and sampled Fritz's numerous German-themed brews including Fritztoberfest Marzen Bier, brewed specially for the event.
