Tebo Garage opens doors to public for Boulder Symphony Fundraiser

Boulder County developer Stephen Tebo is opening the doors of his private car collection to the public as a fundraiser for the Boulder Symphony.

This event will take place on Friday, Aug. 12 at 7 p.m. This is a rare treat for classic car aficionados who have not been able to participate in a private showing of this outstanding collection.

The Tebo Garage is a large collection of cars which includes many classic cars and some unique vehicles. Among the collection is the Batmobile from the 1960s television show, President Herbert Hoover’s personal Cadillac limousine, the original taxi from the “Seinfeld” TV series, and a Tucker Torpedo. The Tucker car manufacturer was made famous in the Francis Ford Coppola motion picture, “Tucker: The Man and His Dream.” Only 51 Tucker cars were manufactured. There are nearly 350 cars in the Tebo Garage collection.

The Boulder Symphony was founded in 2009 by conductor Devin Patrick Hughes and Niwot business leader Anthony Santelli. The Symphony is a community-focused orchestra for Boulder and surrounding communities. Some of the music performed by the Symphony features new music written by gifted composers, showcasing world-class talent from the local music community.

“Summerfest 2022 Play it Forward” is the annual fundraiser for the Boulder Symphony and their private Music Academy. Their goal is to raise $25,000 from the event.

In addition to seeing all of the cars, there will be live music from the Symphony, food and drinks, and both live and silent auctions.

Tickets are $20-$45 and are available through
