July 1st marked the opening of the Why Not Niwot? Juried Art Show display of art with a Niwot theme in local stores and restaurants. The Niwot Cultural Arts Association and Osmosis Gallery sponsor the event every year, and this year marked a new high with 38 entries.
Niwot's business district was a busy place on July's First Friday Art Walk, with artists creating art outdoors, a book signing at Inkberry Books, a classic car show outside Niwot Market, shop owners offering refreshments, and live music on the street.
