Nick Valin's advice for incoming students is to get involved early. "I'm really glad that once I actually got to Niwot I got involved in a lot of stuff and it made the experience a lot more meaningful and I got to meet a lot more friends and people."
Niwot senior Nicholas Valin wasn't always the confident, aspirational young adult he is today. In fact, after going to private school and then being homeschooled for freshman year, his transition to Niwot was somewhat jarring.
