Niwot extends win streak to seven with Dawson sweep

On Sept. 8, the machine-like Niwot boys tennis team dispatched Dawson School in short order, winning all seven matches. The top two singles players, sophomore Neil Wilcox and senior Riley Black, extended their unbeaten streak to seven games each, while senior Riley Mulshine picked up his another win at No. 3 singles.

The Cougars are now winners of seven in a row, and are heading into the second half of their schedule. Up next for the Cougars are a pair of Northern League matches against Mountain View and then Longmont. On Sept. 22, Niwot heads to Kent Denver for the annual Sun Devil Invite, which features the top 4A and 5A programs in the state.

With his win over Dawson on Sept. 8, senior Riley Black extended his regular-season winning streak at No. 2 doubles to eight matches.
