“Service above Self” is the motto of the international Rotarian Club and it fittingly captures the spirit of the organization and its members.

Beginning in 2006, Rotary Clubs around the world designated the last Saturday of April as the day members perform hands-on work in their communities and the day was titled Rotarians at Work Day (RAW).

The Rotary Club of Niwot decided that this RAW they would help the Niwot Historical Society remove a large raised planting bed adjacent to the Niwot Firehouse Museum in preparation for changes to its landscaping and forecourt.
