Hair is flying these days, but lately it’s because of static electricity instead of wind. In Boulder County last Wednesday, the humidity was as low as 9% in North Boulder and 11% in other areas. Avery Brewing Company and Boulder County Elections are hosting a Vote Early Day on Friday, Oct. 28 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Avery Brewing Company, 4910 Nautilus Court in Gunbarrel. A small grass fire broke out Oct. 20 north of Boulder in the Lakeridge Trail area at about Nelson Road and Highway 36. At approximately 2 p.m., fire crews and the Boulder County Sheriff’s Department were dispatched to the area. Niwot High School took on a big game this Saturday against the 2-5 Mead Mavericks. It was the final home game of the season for the Cougars and also their Senior Night.
