NHS Homecoming royalty crowned at halftime

Niwot High ditched the traditional homecoming king and queen arrangement several years ago, in favor of a more inclusive approach. Now three members of each class represent their grade on the homecoming court, and no one has to get dressed up. For 2021, the students selected were juniors Molly Stokes, Itzel Cordova-Aguirre, and Tharind Bopearachchigedon; freshmen Naveen Bopearachchigedon, Jesus Rosas Fuentes, and Maddie Pearson; sophomores Ben Rauschkolb, Samantha Sessa, and Fred Zorgdrager; and seniors Brad Bair, Arabella Chen, and Mercer Stauch.
