Chuck Klueber was the 2021 Grand Marshal for Niwot's 4th of July celebration.
It wouldn't be a parade in Niwot without Sparky and Longmont Engine No. 3.
About 350 runners got up early on the fourth for the inaugural Niwot Downhill Mile, a fun run from Niwot High School to Cottonwood Square.
There was a large turnout of early risers for the 4th of July Pancake Breakfast, sponsored by the Niwot Community Association and hosted by Niwot Market.
The Niwot Community Semi-Marching Free Grange Band, sponsored by the Niwot Cultural Arts Association and Left Hand Grange, performed a set of music appropriate to the occasion for the July 4th Pancake Breakfast.
After a quiet summer in 2020, Niwotians were up early and ready for a festive Independence Day. The first post-pandemic fourth featured a fun run starting at Niwot High, a pancake breakfast at Niwot Market, a concert by the Niwot Community Semi-Marching Free Grange Band, and a patriotic motorcade led by Grand Marshal Chuck Klueber.
