ALZHEIMER’S SUPPORT GROUP

An Alzheimer’s support group will meet on the first Wednesday of every month.

This class is free and open to the public, no registration required. The events are from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at the Niwot United Methodist Church, 7405 Lookout Rd., Gunbarrel.

COMMUNITY DINNER

The community is invited to attend the 22nd annual Soup, Soup and More dinner on April 21 from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Niwot United Methodist Church, 7405 Lookout Road. Proceeds to benefit OUR Center of Longmont and to help send the choir to sing at Carnegie Hall at the world premier of a Pepper Choplin composition on November 18, 2018.

MEET THE CANDIDATES

The Altona Grange #127 (9386 N. 39th St., Longmont) will host a meet and greet with four candidates for the Second District of the U.S. House of Representatives. The event begins at 7 p.m. on April 18. The candidates are running for the vacant seat of Jared Polis, who is running for governor. The candidates are Peter Yu (R), Mark Williams (D), Joe Neguse (D) and Nick Thomas (I).

FIRST FRIDAY ART WALK

Friday, Feb. 2, from 6 to 9 p.m. Art, music, food and shopping along 2nd Avenue and in Cottonwood Square.
