Photo by Karen Copperberg There are several ways to properly dispose of the usual extra recyclables and other trash this holiday season, but dumping is not one of them. Cardboard boxes must be flattened and placed in bins at the site on North 79th Street.

Don’t leave your holiday waste for others to clean up. While some of the material pictured is recyclable, the corrugated boxes need to be broken down and placed in the bins. These bins are for single-stream processing.

According to the Boulder County recycling website, single-stream recycling “means all recyclable containers and recyclable paper materials are combined in one bin.”
