Niwot attorneys recognized for pro bono work

Niwot law firm Warren, Carlson & Moore was recognized for the firm’s pro bono work at the annual Boulder County Legal Services Pro Bono Luncheon April 4. The firm received recognition for meeting the goal of 100 percent firm participation in the pro bono program, with attorneys Bruce Warren, Thomas Moore, Laura Moore and Brett Landis donating free legal services to low-income clients through Boulder County Legal Services.

Landis also received individual recognition for providing between 50 and 75 hours of pro bono work last year, both through taking cases through Boulder County Legal Services and participating in its Pro Bono Clinic, providing brief advice to low-income Boulder County residents. Landis’ individual award was presented by Boulder County Magistrate Monica Haenselman, while the firm’s award was presented by Colorado Supreme Court Justice Will Hood, a longtime family friend of Landis.
