Niwot gymnast Mia Curry successfully defended her all-around title at the Class 4A state gymnastics championships, held April 23-24 at Thornton High School. During the team competition, the junior finished first in the balance beam, with a score of 9.325, second in bars (9.250), third in vault (9.150), and fifth in floor (9.43) for a cumulative score of 36.9. She then went on to capture individual state titles in the beam and bars during the event finals on the second day of competition.
