    Longtime Gunbarrel residents will remember the Mockingbird restaurant on Lookout Road. While many have fond memories of eating there, the restaurant closed and, after a fire, the building was demolished in 2007.   • Fire takes life of Gunbarrel woman

    At roughly 11:15 p.m. on Jan. 12, Boulder County 911 received a call for a structure fire at a condominium complex in the 7400 block of Singing Hills Drive in Gunbarrel. Prior to the arrival of deputies and firefighters, neighbors in an adjoining condominium unit helped evacuate two women inside the unit that was on fire. A 57-year-old woman who had been evacuated by her neighbors from a unit on fire collapsed a short time after her evacuation. Deputies and firefighters were with her and immediately began CPR.     On Thursday, January 18, 2018 at approximately 9:24pm, Boulder County Communications received a 911 call about a fire inside a home in the 8100 block of Rye Court in unincorporated Boulder County, in the Niwot area. The person who called 911 was an occupant of the home and reported that there was a fire inside the garage.
