    Twenty-nine immigrants from 16 countries took the Oath of Allegiance to become U.S. citizens on Wednesday, Oct 26 at Twin Peaks Charter Academy in Longmont. The countries include Argentina, Canada, People’s Republic of China, Guatemala, Italy, Jamaica, Kenya, Mexico, Mongolia, Pakistan, Philippines, Somalia, Sri Lanka, Sudan, Turkey and Venezuela.     New teachers often inherit a treasure from their predecessors -a desk, a set of text books, maybe a syllabus.
