    The Cougars gymnastics team won its second meet in a row and performed well at its first invitational, although it didn’t end in a win for Niwot. On Tuesday, Sept. 6 the Cougars went up against Loveland and came away with a win, 174.3 to 133.125.     Don’t look now, but the Niwot boys tennis team is on a hot streak. Since its 6-1 opening win against Thompson Valley, the Cougars have bested their opponents in five consecutive matches, and hold the top spot in 4A Northern League standings going into the second half of the season.
