    The Courier wants to hear your stories It’s been five years since the September 2013 flood that devastated portions of Boulder County. According to Wikipedia, the county received a total of 26 inches of rain from Sept.12 to Sept. 15, 2013. Boulder County’s average yearly precipitation is 20 inches. Two hundred and sixty-two homes were destroyed and over 1,600 people were evacuated. Niwot High School was designated as an evacuation center.
