Niwot High School graduate and distance runner Elise Cranny will compete this week in Paris, France, at her second Olympic Games. She will run in the women's 5,000-meter event as she did in Japan in 2021. This time she will be cheered on by family and friends who missed out on the last Olympics due to COVID restrictions. On Friday, July 26, the event overcame a temporary downpour to deliver another memorable salsa evening in Cottonwood Square.
