    On Tuesday, June 28, the Republican and Democratic parties will hold their primary elections in Boulder County. In order for people to vote in a party primary election, they must be registered with that party. The last day for affiliated voters to change or withdraw their affiliation was May 31. Unaffiliated voters may choose a party up to and including election day.   • "How People Make Things" exhibit new in Longmont

    The Longmont Museum is enjoying high attendance at its fourth-annual summer kids exhibit, “How People Make Things.” The traveling exhibit from the Children’s Museum of Pittsburgh — running through Aug. 28 — uses hands-on, real-life demonstrations to teach young visitors the mechanics behind everyday objects, ranging from Crayola crayons to computer hard drives.
