Markel Settles With Neighbors
A boundary dispute with neighbors of the Lacey property, now known as
Niwot Meadow Farm subdivision, was resolved at the Planning Commission
Hearing when developer Michael Markel agreed to deed property along the
established fence line to the neighboring land owners. Rosemary Bruce and
Martin Kanowitz were among the neighbors who asked that the fence line
boundary, rather than conflicting deed descriptions, be set as the legal
boundary. Markel agreed to resolve the deed overlap by creating outlots
and deeding them to the neighbors, free of any subdivision covenants or
restrictions.
