Builders And Contractors Directory With spring just around the corner, many folks’ thoughts turn to building, remodeling or fixing up the old homestead. The following listing provides a brief description of those area builders and contractors who responded to our request for information.
Artistic Design
Iarussi specializes
in interior trim, and high end design work. In the construction business
since 1975, he designs, remodels and builds homes and commercial buildings.
“Know who’s driving your project” said Iarussi. Always ask, “Is it
quality, safety, price or schedule?” You can have all four, but stick
with one driver.”
Ed Bisiar,
Bisiar specializes in minor repairs, plumbing problems, window framing and drywall repair; in general any small home repair or maintenance job. Bisiar is kept busy with a loyal list of clients that value his Mr. Fix-it Know-How. While he no longer lives in this area, his customers are primarily in the Niwot/Gunbarrel area. Ed Bisiar’s other career
is in music. You can meet Ed, also known as Eddie Spaghetti to his
music fans, at Niwot’s annual Easter Egg hunt, April 14, where he will
be providing music and announcing, in partnership with Niwot Real Estate.

Blue River Construction
Pavlick has been licensed as a general contractor for 35 years. “Our specialty is tenant finish.” In office buildings, Blue River will install partitions, ceilings, floor, cabinets and do general decorating. “We do large additions and remodels, custom work. We pride ourselves with on time and on budget projects.” Blue River renovated the
Band Shell in Boulder Central Park in 1997-98.

Construction Co.
A licensed contractor, Weeks has been working in Boulder County over 20 years. Blue Spruce Design has been in business four years. The company has been in the top 100 woman owned business in Colorado for the past three years, has been listed in “Colorado Business Magazine’s” top 250 private businesses for 1999 and has been in the top 25 Boulder County general contractors for the past four years. Weeks is also on the Governmental Affairs Council for the Boulder County Chapter of the Chamber of Commerce. Weeks said, “We specialize

Trotter has been located in Boulder County for 18 years and is licensed and insured. The company specializes in new construction and remodeling. “We do the complete job from start to finish. I believe in a hands-on management style and can therefore be more responsive to my customers’ needs. I specialize in design and engineering with an expertise in CAD (computer aided design). “I offer design consulting,
site planning, cost estimating, and I can assist in finding financing.
Design Master Construction is competitively priced and we take pride in
completing the job on time and within budget. We have many local
references and satisfied customers,” Trotter said.
Donegal Homes
O’Donnell is a 35 year
resident of Boulder County. He has been in construction and remodeling
for 25 years. O’Donnell specializes in close interpersonal relationships
with his customers, and there are many happy homeowners willing to promote
him by word of mouth.
Harrington Homes, Inc.
Harrington is a licensed contractor and has been in business in Boulder County since 1983. He is also a third generation builder. His father and grandfather were builders in Michigan. Harrington Homes, Inc. specializes in architecturally designed, high-end homes, remodels and additions. The company received the Merit Award for custom detail from “1998 Custom Home Magazine” for building a staircase. The company provides pre-construction
services along with full construction management. “We work with a
full range of architects and engineers. Harrington Homes is directed
toward unique and creative projects which require challenge and reward
special attention and skills. We enjoy working in a team relationship
with architects and owners to achieve the best value,” Harrington said.
Kennelly Construction
Kennelly Construction has
been in business since 1982. “We provide interior trim installation for
selected contractors. We also build custom cabinets, stair handrails,
raised panels and other custom trim. We will build a cabinet from
a picture,” Kennelly said. Kennelly Contruction also does additions
and basement finish projects.
Taylor Homes
Taylor Homes’ specialty is
building custom homes and larger scale remodeling projects. Building in
the area since 1978, Raffensperger has many satisfied customers.
Raffensperger stated, “We also offer design services. We have built
our business on word of mouth from satisfied customers. We always
put the customer first. (Building a home) can and should be fun.”
Westwind Remodeling, Inc.
Licensed as a general contractor,
Gentili stated, “Our specialty is high end home remodeling. We perform
almost all trades with our own staff. We have a cabinet shop for
custom work.”

Services
Sun is primarily a commercial construction firm, taking on both large and small projects. In business for 14 years in this area, Sun is insured and bonded.
