Take An Austrian Student To Work Week by Mary Wolbach Lopert  Recently, seven Gunbarrel/Niwot families participated in a unique "job shadowing" program with students from the Vienna Business School-Hak I (VBS-Hak-I).

 

Heatherwood Says Good-bye To A Special Principal  by Nancy Martin  The entire Heatherwood community will bid a sorrowful good-bye to the outstanding principal of Heatherwood Elementary School.	Niwot Hills Subdivision Tabled by Ron Goodman A sketch plan application for the proposed Niwot Hills development was presented by developer Michael Markel to the Boulder County Planning Commission on May 19, 1999. The development calls for 46 lots on 156 acres located on the southwest corner of Niwot Road and North 95th Street.
Gunbarrel Estates Residents Petition For Zip Code Change By Laura Whildin  Bob Schleicher, a Gunbarrel Estates resident, is collecting petitions to change the Gunbarrel Estates area zip code and address to Boulder. He spoke at the Gunbarrel Estates Home Owners’ Meeting on May 12, 1999 to urge homeowners to support this change.    Amrion Committed To Excellence by Helen Johnson In 1987, Bioenergy Nutrients was founded in Gunbarrel by Henry and Mark S. Crossen to market nutritional supplements.	Laurels for Jan Tornow And Judy Gould by Anna Mahorski   "We wear many hats," said Judy. "We do the budget, work in the nurse’s office, work in the workroom cutting papers, work in the cafeteria, tell lost kids where to go." Mary Baisley also helps Jan as clerk since "life" at Niwot Elementary is so busy.
