Niwot Nostalgia Days
Everyone Loves A Parade!

What would be better after participating in the Nostalgia Days Fun Run (before or after the Optimists’ Pancake Breakfast) than an old-fashioned country parade? It’s a perfect start to this year’s Nostalgia Days on Sept. 15!

The parade will begin at 9:30 a.m., so you’ll want to come early and stake out your spot to make sure your whole family has a perfect view of the excitement.

There will be horses carrying pretty ladies sporting beautiful turn-of-the-century clothes, fire trucks, tractors, and several very special surprise guests. We’re even hoping that Chief Niwot agrees to join the line-up.

What parade would be complete without a drum corps? Come share a little peek at Niwot High’s pride and joy. There will be scouts, antique cars, animals, and don’t forget those Niwot businesses that just can’t help but march to the sound of our drummers! What a perfect way to introduce a new business or promote an established one.

Now is the time to get YOUR marching shoes on along with decorated strollers, bikes, and gussied-up pets. Or saddle up your pony and create your own float to entertain your neighbors and show off your talents.

Children and adults of all ages: the parade spirit is calling you. Everyone is welcome to join in—no one will be left out! Call a friend and make this year’s Nostalgia Days one you’ll never forget.

Please join us!

Get your idea together, and then reserve your position in line by calling Happy Schaffner at 303-652-2557. We’ll be gathering at 9 a.m. at the corner of Neva Road and Meadowdale.
