An original play in the park was presented Thursday and Friday, July 13
and 14 in South Park, part of Cottonwood Park West Homeowners Association
property, on the corner of 79th Street and Niwot Square Drive.
Teen Theatre On The Green is a summer program developed and run by Director Kathy Raczkowski, a Niwot resident, for local teenagers. The play, conceived and written by the teenage actors, is called “Tear-or Of Time!” The handsome and imaginative sets were constructed by Raczkowski’s “carpenter and husband extraordinaire,” Chris Walker. The actors were Chris Reyes, Dustin Bell, Melissa Arnone, Chelsie Hopperstad, Lauren Mitchell, Stephanie Payne, Dana van der Heide, Jenny Zarlengo, Alistair Johnson, Josh Wise, Carrie Keith and Hargobind Khalsa. This is the second season for the teen theatre. They used the Left Hand Grange Hall for indoor rehearsal space and South Park for the production. Several of the young actors provided an improvisational performance at the Cottonwood Park West annual homeowner’s meeting Saturday evening. |
