Dana Lynn Harbison

Dana Lynn Harbison, age 51, of Longmont died April 14, 2016 at TRU Hospice Center in Lafayette.

Born in Denver to Howard and Virginia Harbison, Dana moved with her family to the Niwot area in 1966. She attended Niwot schools from kindergarten through high school, graduating from Niwot High School in 1982.

After attending the University of Northern Colorado, Dana worked for Andersen Development Co. of Boulder as office manager. In 1988 she joined the Boulder County work force, where she was an Administrative Manager in the Information Technology Department at the time of her passing.

She is survived by her son, Britton J. Mahan of Longmont; her parents of Niwot; older brother Bradley (Michele) Harbison, nephew Westin Harbison and niece Kendra Harbison, all of Rochester, New York; uncle Gary Harbison and family of Durango, Colorado; and numerous cousins in the Des Moines, Iowa, and Springfield, Missouri, areas.

At a well-attended ceremony hosted by Boulder County, Dana was honored with a plaque added to the Boulder County Memorial wall at the Boulder County Fairgrounds in Longmont.
