All Local, All The Time

Changing hands

New hands have taken over Niwot Massage, and the new owner is serious about rejuvenating--both bodies and the business.

Laura Graziano might seem a familiar face to Niwot residents. She worked at Colterra for five years before the restaurant was closed due to a kitchen fire in October 2017. A Licensed Massage Therapist for the past two years, Graziano was building a private practice in south Boulder when the opportunity to take over Niwot Massage became available to her.

The former owner of Niwot Massage, Jeannine Dyche, attended the same Boulder massage school as Graziano. Dyche sold her Niwot practice to be closer to home and the Erie school system, which gave Graziano the chance to get back to the people of Niwot.

“I miss working here in Niwot, and I love the people,” said Graziano, during a tour of the new space she has remodeled for the business. Located in Cottonwood Square between Fan’s and Raza Fresa, in the space formerly occupied by Leigh Charley’s Compassionate Chiropractic, Graziano has worked to create a peaceful, welcoming place for both her clients and the talented roster of therapists and practitioners who will be working there.

Aside from Graziano, the new Niwot Massage includes Jennifer "Navie" Navarrete LMT, a 19-year practitioner who does Swedish, deep tissue, and energy work.

“Her work is like taking a huge nap.” says Graziano.

Also practicing out of the space is Anne Boutin, LMT, with seven years experience, specializing in deep tissue, pre-and post-natal, and working with cancer patients. The practice also offers Mary Ashleigh Hardiman, an LMT and Certified Rolfer, specializing in Swedish, deep tissue, sports massage, myofascial release, shiatsu, prenatal and structural integration.

“We all enjoy helping people with the whole body/mind/spirit. We all are passionate about our clients’ overall health and well-being,” said Graziano.

The newly remodeled space has two rooms that can either be completely private or can utilize a connecting room that creates a space for couples massage.

“We will be offering some specials for couples, with treats and beverages, throughout the weekend surrounding Valentine’s Day,” she said.

Graziano is happy to be back in the Niwot community, and looking forward to Niwot Massage being a resource for well-being.

“I'm looking forward to being back in the Niwot community again and meeting new people, offering a safe, warm place where they can receive quality bodywork without having to drive far.”

Niwot Massage is located at 7960 Niwot Road in suite C-11 and can be reached at 303-652-0577.
