Sarah Echsner (Niwot) finished 50th for Lewis & Clark College in a five team meet at the Pio Open.  Echsner posted time of 26:20.

Megan Horsch (Niwot) finished 15th in the Big Sky Conference Championships for the University of Northern Colorado with a time of 16:27.74.  Horsch had the highest individual finish by a UNC woman runner in conference history.   A year ago she finished 52nd, improving by 37 places this season.  Horsch followed by placing 56th in the NCAA Mountain Region Championships, posting a time of 22:11.5 for the 6K course. She moved up 65 places over last year’s finish.

Although the high school cross country season is over, the running is not.  Niwot High’s Nick Harris, Quinn Harris and Elise Cranny were off to run in the Nike Regional in Arizona in late November.  Nick Harris and Cranny ran in the Championship division while Quinn Harris ran in the Open division.
