Ryan Strufing (Niwot) is working hard in the weight room at Long Beach State. Unlike some teams who play a fall schedule, Long Beach State does not play games in the fall, preferring to play the entire schedule in the spring. The NCAA counts fall games against the maximum number of games allowed for college programs.

Sean Ratliff (Niwot) finished the season with a .317 batting average for the Binghamton Mets, AA affiliate of the New York Mets.  Ratliff played just half a season for Binghamton after being promoted mid-season from Class A St. Lucie.  Ratliff’s average led the team among players with at least 250 at bats.  His 16 home runs tied for fourth-best on the team.  He also scored 48 runs and drove in 50.  His combined stats for the season, in 501 official at bats, were 21 homeruns, 80 RBI’s, 83 runs scored and a .298 batting average.

Matt Brown (Niwot) is the pitching coach at Panhandle State University in Oklahoma.  Brown played collegiately as well as professionally in independent baseball leagues before becoming a coach.
