The Corpus Christi IceRays traded forward Jonathan Sdao to the Springfield Jr. Blues of the North American Hockey League Jan. 13.  Sdao, who attended Niwot High School before transferring to Culver Academies to play hockey, scored four goals and had two assists in 23 games for the IceRays. Sdao had one assist in five games with the Springfield, Ill. team before being traded to the Minnesota Junior Hockey League Feb. 7.  At that point, Sdao returned to Colorado and joined the Boulder Junior Bison.  Sdao posted a hat trick in a 9-0 win over Texas for the Bison, who play in the Western States Hockey League, a USA Hockey sanctioned Junior “A” Tier III league.

Michael Sdao of Niwot helped Princeton to a 7-3 win over Brown with an assist on the first goal of the game.  Sdao got the puck at the blue line and teammate Kevin Lohry redirected Sdao’s point shot in the slot to score in the first minute of play.  Sdao missed the two games prior to the victory over Brown. Sdao leads the team in penalty minutes with 17.
