David Perry (Niwot) had the top individual finish for the University of Portland’s indoor track and field team at the University of Washington’s Indoor Preview Meet Jan. 15.  Perry, a freshman, finished seventh overall in the 3000 M with a time of 8:33.03. Former Niwot assistant cross-country coach Jesse Johnson is an assistant coach and recruiting coordinator for Portland.
