Fifth grade student Claire Galanthy assists kindergarten enrichment students Lilia Donaldson, Mei Mei Rockwood, Caroline Blum, and Chloe Zeid in folding cranes for the Cranes for Kids Japan Relief Program. Every origami peace crane a child makes represents the donation of an article of clothing to families in Japan affected by the earthquake and tsunami. Heatherwood students created over 300 cranes.
