LIZ EMMETT-MATTOX Once again, the NBA is bringing a bit of hometown holiday cheer to Niwot with Enchanted Evening, Friday, Nov. 25, from 6-9 p.m. The shops will be open, music will be playing, and Santa will be hearing the wishes of all the good little girls and boys. Visitors can enjoy mingling with neighbors and friends as they stroll the streets of Niwot. As you wander by, listen for live music by The Ptarmigan String Quartet, Niwot Semi-Marching Free Grange Band, harpist Christine Tulis and more. If you are worn out from the day’s retail adventure, or if you have more packages than you can comfortably carry, Banjo Billy’s Bus will provide rides between Old Town and Cottonwood Square. At 6:15 p.m., the tree lighting ceremony will take place at Lefthand Corner. And don’t forget to visit Santa. He’ll be making an appearance at Niwot Interiors so be good for goodness’ sake. New, unwrapped toys will be collected at Niwot Interiors and donated to the Mountain View Fire Protection District’s Toys for Tots campaign.
