… The Niwot Cultural Arts Association.
Congratulations to the NCAA for its winning entry as to why the NCAA’s organization should receive the proceeds from the Courier’s fifth annual duck race.

This year’s funds will not only go toward creating a sculpture park along Niwot Road, but will also help fund First Friday Art Walks.
Biff Warren, a member of the NCAA board, thanked the Courier for making the NCAA the beneficiary of the duck race. Warren said, “Proceeds from the race are a welcome source of funding for First Friday. The Art Walk has become tremendously popular and we want to see it continue to grow.”

Tim Wise, also a member of the NCAA board, said, “It’s great that the Courier is making the effort to give back to the community. The race from last year that went to the historical society was way cool. It was fun to see Laura Skaggs with her hat on. We can’t compare to Laura Skaggs. Possibly Biff could wear that hat and be our spokes duck.”
